Entry for ~Church-Of-L's 'L as a superhero' contest.

I didn't actually think up the Glucosinator specifically for this contest - he has already appeared elsewhere on the internet in a fanfic I wrote as a response to one in which Light Yagami takes on an alter-ego. Anything Light can do...
Read the Light Yagami story here ---> [link] and my response here ---> [link] if you really want to! He doesn't actually shoot Pocky at anyone in the story though - I just thought that would be a cool thing for him to do...

I was actually hoping to do a much better, coloured image for the contest but as soon as I actually had the time to do so... I got sick. :angered: Ah well... c'est la vie.

Permission given to :iconchurch-of-l: to use this.
...
Obviously.

Pff - you know he'd only snatch it all back off you and eat it himself!

True! But one might land in my mouth and I can eat it before he can get to it...
Not if I get there first!
Mmm... Pocky!

Green tea Pocky is sooooo good!
Not tried the green tea... ("Matcha?" :aww: ) I've only just recently found out where to buy strawberry and chocolate round here!

Well, strawberry is the only one I can get hold of here. In this Japanese shop. Lots of places carry the Thai made ones but I don't like them. They're different. Sort of waxy, not creamy like the Japanese ones.
Oh, really? Thanks for the heads-up there - a friend bought me some Thai Pocky for Xmas... There's only two shops anywhere near here that sell Pocky of any kind, and they're across the border... Curse Wales and it's not-having-anything-ness!

Yeah, the only ones you could get in Dublin were the Thai ones. I think the only place you get the Japanese ones is in Japanese shops. Which don't seem to be as common as general asian shops or Chinese ones... at least not in the UK/Ireland :(
The shops I go to are Japanese ones - one sells traditional stuff - kimonos, Darumas... that kind of thing as well as sweeties (koala crackers ftw!), and the other is full of kawaii randomness that makes me squee :excited: but... limited flavours!! :-X Ah well... I'll just have to stock up at the next anime expo... :P

Btw, do you mind if I email you soon?
